Seeking an experienced Finance Project Manager to strengthen the financial advisory function and coach a team of financial advisors within a municipality.
Project overview
The assignment involves strengthening the financial advisory function and guiding the team within the municipality.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Developing and updating financial policy and financial strategies
- Acting as a strategic sparring partner for the Operations Manager and the Corporate Controller
- Monitoring financial continuity and identifying risks and opportunities
- Coordinating the planning and control cycle, particularly the executive reports
- Performing quality control on financial decision-making and reporting
- Managing and coaching four financial advisors
- Guiding the development of three recently started financial advisors
- Strengthening advisory skills and administrative sensitivity within the team
- Establishing professional working methods and ensuring knowledge sharing within the team
- HBO+ or WO work and thinking level in business economics, finance, accountancy, public administration, or similar
- Several years of experience in a senior advisory or management role within finance
- Proven background within municipal organizations
- Thorough knowledge of the spatial domain
- Experience in guiding and developing financial professionals
