Project Manager in Banking, Remote and Frankfurt am Main

Project overview

We are looking for support from a Project Manager with assertiveness in the area of customer projects with contract and scope management.

The assignment is mainly remote. Occasional on-site appointments at the Frankfurt office are possible by arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Representing internal interests in a large, ongoing project
• Quick, pragmatic familiarization with the technical and contractual project environment
• Reconciling new client demands with the agreed scope of services
• Clearly defining requirements that are not part of the agreed scope and negotiating consistently
• Conducting difficult conversations and negotiations at eye level, including with management
• Preparing lines of argument, decision proposals, and escalations for management
• Managing change requests and supplementary claims together with specialist departments and sales
• Documenting agreements, decisions, and deviations

Requirements

• Many years of experience in project management, ideally in projects with demanding stakeholder situations
• High assertiveness, persistence, and confident demeanor, even under pressure
• Negotiation skills and the ability to draw clear boundaries
• Quick comprehension and pragmatic, solution-oriented way of working
• Experience with scope, change, and claim management
• Understanding of contractual frameworks is an advantage
