Project:

Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the 'Reporting' sub-project. This involves taking responsibility for the management and implementation of the Reporting sub-project, ensuring the timely, quality, and goal-oriented delivery of reporting results within the project (Reference number: 925159RF).

Responsibilities

• Planning and managing the Reporting stream according to specifications (agile project methodology)
• Leading, organizing, and developing the teams and employees within the Reporting sub-project in an agile environment
• Responsible for the content-related solution development in the area of Reporting (reports, dashboards, reporting-related functionalities)
• Steering and implementation of reporting deliverables, including planning, prioritization, and dependencies
• Ensuring coordination with business departments, architecture, data platforms, and adjacent sub-projects
• Managing quality and risk management
• Ensuring stakeholder management and communication within the own area of responsibility
• Ensuring proper project execution, including documentation, knowledge transfer, and handover of results to the operations organization

• Several years (> 5 years) of proven and uninterrupted experience in managing IT projects in large companies
• Profound knowledge in the areas of Reporting, Data Warehouse, Data Platforms, and data-driven applications
• Experience in collaborating with IT architecture, development, business departments, and data platforms
• Very good understanding of dependencies between data producers and consumers (e.g., business, reporting, platform)
• Experience in replacing legacy systems and migrating reporting and analysis solutions
• Ability for structured planning, steering, and prioritization of deliverables in an iterative process
• Profound knowledge of the Atlassian suite (Confluence and Jira)
• Experience in quality, risk, and dependency management in large projects
• Proven experience in leading interdisciplinary teams without line responsibility
• Ability to coordinate different stakeholder interests and facilitate viable decisions
• Strong communication and moderation skills at both business and management levels
• Assertive, structured, and solution-oriented personality
• Confident demeanor in German and English
• High result and implementation orientation
• Independent, responsible, and resilient work style
• Ability to present complex issues clearly and appropriately for the audience
• Willingness for close collaboration with project and DevOps organization
