Job description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager for a migration project in the securities business for a client in the banking sector. The focus is on SLA management and outsourcing requirements during the change of a custody provider.
Project overview
For our client in the banking sector, we are looking for a highly experienced Project Manager (m/f/d) to support a migration in the securities business.
As part of the project, a securities trading bank is changing its custody provider. In addition to the functional and organizational management of the migration, a special focus is placed on SLA management and the requirements for outsourcing management.
We are looking for an expert with sound knowledge in securities processing and the custody business, combined with experience in managing complex migration projects in a regulated banking environment.
Responsibilities
- Leadership and management of the migration project during the change of the custody provider
- Coordination of involved internal departments as well as external service providers and providers
- Functional support of the migration of securities settlement and custody processes
- Management and monitoring of the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Support of outsourcing management, considering regulatory requirements
- Ensuring structured implementation and monitoring of risks, dependencies, and milestones
- Support in coordinating and transferring relevant processes to the target operating model
Requirements
Framework Conditions
- Many years of experience in project management of complex migration projects in the banking environment
- Very good functional knowledge in securities processing, especially securities settlement and custody
- Experience with provider changes and the migration of securities or custody services
- Sound knowledge in SLA management and in managing external service providers
- Experience in outsourcing management at banks and ideally knowledge of the relevant regulatory requirements
- Strong communication and coordination skills as well as a structured, independent way of working
