Project overview

For our client, we are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager IT Security (m/f/d) to support the further development of a company-wide IT security landscape.

Framework

• Utilization: up to 40 working days
• Location: 100% Remote
• Language: German and English

Responsibilities

Requirements (Must-have)

• Independent planning, control, and coordination of IT security projects and sub-projects
• Creation and monitoring of project plans, milestones, work packages, and dependencies
• Identification, assessment, and tracking of project risks, as well as initiation of appropriate countermeasures
• Coordination of IT departments, technical specialists, and external service providers
• Control of measures to improve information security and technical security standards
• Preparation and execution of status and control meetings
• Creation of transparent reports on project progress, risks, and escalations
• Support for the implementation of regulatory, legal, and internal compliance requirements
• Close collaboration with teams from IT architecture, infrastructure, cloud, and IT operations
• At least 5 years of experience in managing IT projects or IT programs
• Demonstrable project experience in the field of information security / IT security
• Very good knowledge of modern IT infrastructures, cloud technologies, and security architectures
• Practical experience in at least one of the following areas:
• Privileged Access Management (PAM)
• Vulnerability Management and Patch Management
• Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Cloud Security
• Network and Infrastructure Security
• System Hardening
• Ability to communicate complex technical issues to management level in an audience-appropriate manner
• Very good German and English skills
