We are looking for an experienced QHSE Specialist for our location in Upper Austria. In this role, you will significantly contribute to safety, quality, and environmental protection on construction sites.
Your responsibilities include monitoring compliance with occupational safety, quality, and environmental regulations, as well as conducting regular safety inspections. You will identify potential risks, monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment, and support release processes and risk assessments. Furthermore, you will investigate near misses and incidents, initiate appropriate measures, and conduct safety training. You will organize toolbox talks and participate in emergency drills, evacuation measures, and acceptance activities.
For this position, you should have a completed technical education and several years of practical experience in the QHSE, HSE, or quality management segment on construction sites. You are familiar with relevant standards and regulations such as the Occupational Safety Act (Arbeitssicherheitsgesetz), the Construction Site Coordination Act (Bauarbeitenkoordinationsgesetz), and ISO standards 9001, 14001, and 45001. A certificate as a safety specialist (Sicherheitsfachkraft) is required. Experience with construction site processes, contractors, and industrial plants is an advantage.
You work in a structured and self-reliant manner, possess a strong sense of responsibility, and are proficient with Microsoft 365 and common documentation tools. Good English skills and willingness to travel within Austria, along with a Class B driver's license, complete your profile.
The position is designed as hybrid and offers you flexibility in how you structure your work.
