• Operational and technical support in quality management for steel construction projects
• Assuming overall quality responsibility for defined steel construction scopes
• Creation, maintenance, and further development of quality and test plans
• Execution, coordination, and evaluation of quality checks in the manufacturing environment
• Execution and evaluation of non-destructive testing, especially ultrasonic testing
• Support of Quality Design Planning (QVP)
• Monitoring compliance with welding technology and quality-related requirements
• Processing of quality deviations and initiation and follow-up of corrective actions
• Support in optimizing quality-related manufacturing and testing processes
• Coordination with production, welding supervision, design, and other specialist departments

Requirements

• Completed technical training with further education as a master craftsman or technician
• Sound experience in quality management or quality assurance in steel construction
• Knowledge of Quality Design Planning (QVP)
• Experience in the creation and implementation of test concepts and test plans
• Knowledge in the field of non-destructive testing methods, especially ultrasonic testing
• Welding technology qualification or corresponding further training is an advantage
• Experience with high-strength fine-grained steels and welded steel structures is desirable
