Job description
We are looking for an SAP Cloud Architect for a client to develop the cloud strategy for the future SAP landscape, evaluate and select cloud scenarios, and develop migration plans. The role is planned for part-time with approximately 70% utilization, mostly remote with about 30% on-site in Stuttgart.
Project overview
For our client, we are looking for an SAP Cloud Architect for the prospective duration until 12/2027 with the option for extension, starting 12/2026. The assignment is planned for part-time with approx. 70% utilization. The activity will be mostly remote and approx. 30% on-site in Stuttgart.
Responsibilities
- Development of the cloud strategy for the future SAP landscape (vision, guardrails, decision logic)
- Evaluation and selection of SAP Cloud/Private Cloud scenarios (RISE with SAP; SAP Sovereign Cloud On-Site/external)
- Development of the corresponding target architecture considering applications, data, and interfaces
- Development of the migration plan
- Ensuring economic efficiency
- Creation of business cases
- Service provider management
- Stakeholder communication and preparation of decisions
- Preparation of complex issues for decision by management and center leadership
Requirements
- Sound experience with cloud architectures, ideally in the SAP environment (Must Have)
- Experience in developing cloud strategies
- Evaluation and selection of SAP Cloud/Private Cloud scenarios
- Migration planning
- Creation of business cases
- Service provider management
