SAP EC Payroll Consultant

Project overview

For the introduction of a modern payroll system, we are looking for an experienced SAP EC Payroll Consultant at a senior level. You will support the finalization and go-live of a SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll solution with German payroll.

Your tasks include the configuration and validation of all payroll components: You will set up special payment modules (holiday pay, Christmas bonus), configure payroll schemas and personnel calculation rules, and perform extensive payroll simulations. You will check the gross-net results for each payroll area and document all configuration changes.

Another focus is on integration with accounting: You will configure the posting of payroll results to SAP FI/CO, assign symbolic accounts, cost centers, and profit centers, and perform posting simulations. You will clarify discrepancies and validate the account assignments before the productive start.

In addition, you will implement payment file processing (DTA), test the entire payment and posting cycle end-to-end, and configure monthly provisions for special payments. You will create meaningful documentation and unit test packages with simulation results.

We are looking for a technically proficient consultant with deep SAP Payroll know-how, who works independently and collaborates closely with FI/CO specialists and business departments. The position is limited to 5 months, with an 80% remote share and the work location in Germany.
