Job description
Experienced SAP ECP Payroll Specialist needed for a comprehensive payroll implementation project, with options for remote and onsite work. The role involves configuring payroll processes, postings, and payment media, as well as supporting cutover and hypercare activities.
Project overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP ECP Payroll Specialist to support a comprehensive payroll implementation project. The position is possible remotely and onsite and runs from 09.11.2026 to 31.03.2027 on a full-time basis.
Your tasks include the configuration and finalization of the wage type system for special payments such as holiday pay and Christmas bonus, including processing classes and evaluation classes. You will validate payroll schemas and personnel calculation rules as well as perform payroll simulations and gross-to-net validations.
Another focus is on the configuration of payroll postings to the finance and controlling system, including symbolic accounts, cost centers, and profit centers. You will perform posting simulations and coordinate with FI/CO specialists to resolve discrepancies.
Furthermore, you will configure the payment medium program for bank transfer files and test the complete payment and posting cycle. You will validate month-end accruals for special payments and coordinate with the finance team.
During cutover activities, you will support parallel runs between the legacy and new system, document discrepancies, and conduct at least three consecutive parallel periods. After go-live, you will coordinate hypercare activities and support the stabilization phase.
Extensive experience with SAP Employee Central Payroll is required, with a deep understanding of German payroll processes and legal requirements, practical experience with wage type configuration, and knowledge of payroll schemas, personnel calculation rules, and payroll postings. English language skills are required.
