Job description
Seeking an experienced SAP expert for process analysis and target process definition within R&D and Manufacturing for a client project. The role involves analyzing existing processes, documenting current SAP R/3 processes, and defining future target processes.
Project overview
For our client, we are looking for an SAP Expert (m/f/d) for Process Analysis & Target Process Definition starting in December for consulting services in the project:
Responsibilities
- Analysis of existing business processes within the Research & Development and Manufacturing areas
- Recording and documentation of currently lived SAP R/3-supported end-to-end processes
- Identification and description of involved roles, responsibilities, and organizational interfaces
- Evaluation of the current process landscape regarding efficiency, transparency, and traceability
- Identification of process gaps, duplicate work, media breaks, and unclear responsibilities
- Conducting and moderating interviews and workshops with specialist departments and relevant stakeholders
- Coordination of analysis results with responsible contact persons at the specialist department and management level
- Development of recommendations for action and optimization approaches for existing processes
- Definition and coordination of future target processes, taking into account the existing system landscape
- Creation of comprehensible process documentation and support in communicating the agreed target states to the user organization
Requirements
- Several years of experience in the SAP environment, ideally within complex manufacturing companies
- Very good knowledge of SAP R/3 and associated business processes
- Demonstrable experience in the analysis, modeling, and optimization of business processes
- Experience in the area of manufacturing or production-related SAP processes
- Experience in recording and documenting end-to-end process landscapes
- Confident demeanor in workshops and interviews with specialist departments and management stakeholders
- Structured and analytical approach
Nice to have
- Experience in the Research & Development (R&D) environment
- Knowledge of regulated industry or high-tech environments
- Experience in SAP transformation or harmonization projects
- Knowledge in the area of SAP S/4HANA transformation
- Experience in creating process maps, role models, and governance structures
