Supply Chain Coordinator

Responsibilities

Profile

• Managing material supply considering current demands, existing inventories, delivery times, and production schedules
• Processing and coordinating orders up to the timely provision of required materials
• Checking order confirmations and delivery dates, and consistently following up on open and time-critical orders
• Identifying potential supply bottlenecks and risks, and initiating and coordinating appropriate measures
• Ongoing coordination with suppliers regarding quantities, availability, and delivery dates
• Collaboration with internal contacts from Supply Chain Planning, strategic purchasing, production, quality, and logistics in critical supply situations
• Maintaining and ensuring a reliable database in the area of ordering and procurement
• Participating in the optimization of existing supply chain processes and supporting Lean and Supply Chain projects
• Completed commercial apprenticeship or degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a comparable qualification
• Sound professional experience in dispatching, operational purchasing, or supply chain management, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Very good understanding of operational procurement and material supply processes and their interrelationships within the supply chain
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
• Confident use of ERP systems, ideally SAP R/3, as well as good knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong communication and coordination skills in dealing with suppliers and various internal interfaces
• Very good German language skills at least C1 level
• Good English language skills at least B2 level
