SAP HCM Consultant Migration (Remote)

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP HCM Consultant for a remote project to migrate personnel data. You will be responsible for the conception, planning, and execution of a comprehensive data migration from non-SAP legacy systems into an SAP HCM/S4HANA landscape.

Your tasks include analyzing and evaluating existing data stocks, defining necessary data cleansing measures, and creating and coordinating data mapping and transformation rules. You will perform the migration for the SAP HCM components Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Payroll, and Time Management, using migration tools such as LSMW, Migration Cockpit, and ETL tools. If necessary, you will also develop custom ABAP solutions.

Further responsibilities include creating and updating the migration concept, planning and executing test migrations, analyzing and resolving data and migration errors, and validating data quality, completeness, and consistency. You will create cutover and go-live plans and provide technical and functional support during the test, cutover, and go-live phases. Finally, you will document all migration processes and decisions and ensure data protection compliance with sensitive personnel data.

Requirements include very good knowledge of SAP migration and SAP HCM, especially in the mentioned components, as well as experience with SAP HCM Public Sector. You should be proficient in using SAP migration tools, have ABAP/4 skills, and experience in data analysis, evaluation, and preparation. Creating and implementing technical migration concepts is one of your core competencies.
