SAP HCM Migration and Data Management Consultant

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP HCM Migration and Data Management Consultant for a comprehensive transformation project. You will independently provide consulting and migration services in the SAP HCM environment, migrating HR data from existing non-SAP systems into a modern SAP HCM or S/4HANA landscape.

Your tasks include the conception, planning, and execution of data migrations with a focus on the modules Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Payroll, and Time Management. You will analyze existing data stocks, define data cleansing and preparation measures, and create data mapping and transformation rules.

For technical implementation, you will use proven SAP migration tools such as SAP LSMW and SAP Migration Cockpit, work with ETL tools, and develop custom ABAP solutions as needed. You will develop holistic migration concepts, define migration objects, mapping rules, and dependencies.

Quality assurance is a top priority: you will plan and conduct test migrations, analyze and resolve errors, and ensure data quality, completeness, and consistency. During the go-live phase, you will provide functional and technical support for cutover activities and document all processes and solution approaches. Handling sensitive HR data in compliance with data protection regulations is a matter of course.

You bring several years of experience in SAP HCM migration projects, possess sound knowledge in SAP HCM General Knowledge, technical SAP migration, SAP Migration Cockpit, LSMW, and ABAP/4. Experience in developing technical concepts and migration strategies is required. Very good German language skills are necessary. Experience in SAP HCM Public Sector and knowledge of common ETL tools are advantageous.
