SAP MM Team Lead

Project overview

For a demanding SAP transformation and migration project, we are looking for an experienced SAP MM Team Lead (m/f/d) to provide technical and operational leadership for a team in the areas of procurement and invoice verification. The role includes responsibility as team lead or deputy team lead within the organization and combines operational process competence with leadership experience in the SAP environment.

Responsibilities

• Technical and operational management of the SAP MM team in the areas of procurement and invoice verification
• Ensuring efficient day-to-day business in the processes of purchasing, contract processing, and invoice verification
• Support and guidance for SAP transformation and migration projects
• Advising business departments on SAP MM processes in ECC and S/4HANA
• Coordination of process optimizations and support in implementing new requirements
• Leadership and further development of operational processing teams in the SAP environment

• At least 5 years of practical experience with SAP ECC in the area of procurement and invoice verification processes (SAP MM)
• Profound knowledge of procurement and invoice verification processes in SAP S/4HANA
• Demonstrable practical experience in operational invoice and contract processing
• At least 2 years of experience in leading operational teams in the SAP environment
• Experience in SAP migration or transformation projects
• Very good German language skills (at least C1)
• Experience in designing and optimizing purchasing and invoice verification processes
• High communication and organizational skills
• Independent and structured way of working
• Experience in dealing with various stakeholders from business and IT
• Start: January 2027
