Security Consultant for Secure Development Platforms

Project overview

For a demanding project in the telecommunications sector, we are looking for an experienced Security Consultant (m/f/d) for the conception and pilot implementation of a secure internal development platform for isolated security zones.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing a modern, security-oriented development infrastructure. You will conceptualize and implement reproducible development environments, establish self-service test platforms, and develop robust test data management. You will define measures for securing developer workstations and design secure access procedures for source code repositories.

Your tasks include gathering functional and technical requirements from development teams, supporting introduction and change processes, and creating concepts, documentation, and recommendations for action.

We expect at least 6 years of experience in Platform Engineering and Developer Experience with proven responsibility for results in building development platforms. You should have sound knowledge of standardized development environments, offline update concepts for isolated environments, and self-service development and test environments. Expertise in test data management – particularly anonymization, synthetic test data, and data separation – is required. Experience in securing developer workstations and source code access in particularly protected environments completes the profile.

Technical knowledge in Dev Containers, Coder, Eclipse Che, Backstage, Argo CD, GitLab, PostgreSQL Anonymizer, and similar tools is advantageous.
