Senior 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud Platform & Service Transition Specialist – ITIL & Release Management – 3–6 Months (Remote/Hybrid)

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud Platform & Service Transition Specialist for a major international manufacturing company that is preparing for the transition from CATIA/ENOVIA V5 on-premise to Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE Public Cloud / CATIA V6, expected in Q2 2027.

The technical and functional implementation will be handled by an external partner.

The consultant's primary responsibility will be to advise on best practices and to define and document the operational processes that will support the platform's administration, configuration management, release management, and transition to operations.

The task may also include supporting the implementation and adherence to the processes during a transition period.

The work will be carried out in close cooperation with the internal IT organization and based on the existing division of responsibilities between IT and the business.

Primary Tasks

Desired Profile

• Environment Management: Advise on best practices and define and document processes for the administration and management of 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud environments, including sandbox, test, and production.
• System Configuration Management: Define and document processes for the management, maintenance, documentation, and version control of system configurations.
• Release & QA Management: Establish best practices and document processes for release planning, quality assurance, testing, approval, and controlled management of changes between environments, taking into account Dassault's Public Cloud model.
• SLA & Monitoring: Potentially advise on and define principles for SLAs, monitoring, and associated operational processes.
• ITIL Service Transition & ServiceNow: Ensure coherence between the defined processes, existing ITIL and ServiceNow processes, and the established role and responsibility distribution.
• Process Implementation & Governance: Support the implementation, documentation, knowledge transfer, and adherence to the operational processes in collaboration with the internal organization.

Profile

We are looking for an independent senior consultant with a deep understanding of 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud and practical experience with the platform's operational processes.

The consultant must be able to apply best practices, challenge existing approaches, and, in collaboration with internal stakeholders, define and document processes that are both technically realistic and usable in daily operations.

The task focuses on consulting, process design, documentation, and potential support for implementation and adherence – not technical configuration, software development, or functional PLM implementation.

Practical Information

• Solid experience with Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud, preferably specifically Public Cloud, including the platform's operational capabilities and limitations.
• Documented experience with Environment Management, System Configuration Management, and Release & QA Management in relation to 3DEXPERIENCE or similar complex enterprise platforms.
• Experience in defining, documenting, and operationalizing best practices for technical platform and operational processes.
• Solid understanding of ITIL Service Transition and the establishment of operational processes in large IT organizations.
• Experience with cloud/SaaS operating models and the division of responsibilities between internal IT teams, business, and external suppliers.
• Ability to translate technical platform knowledge into concrete recommendations, process descriptions, and operational procedures.
• Experience with the transition from CATIA/ENOVIA V5 on-premise to 3DEXPERIENCE Public Cloud.
• Experience with ServiceNow and integration into existing ITSM processes.
• Experience with PLM platforms in large international manufacturing companies.
