Job description
Seeking a Senior C++ Engineer with a focus on storage and persistence for a project involving the development of a central controller for device management. The role requires strong C++ skills and experience with storage technologies for resource-constrained systems.
Project overview
For our client, we are looking for a Senior C++ Engineer (m/f/d) with expertise in SQLite, Key-Value-Stores & Persistence, starting immediately for a project expected to last until 05/2027 with the option for extension. The project is planned as full-time. The work will be primarily remote with occasional appointments in Dortmund, Attendorn, or Lugano.
Responsibilities
In this (sub-)project, a central controller based on ARM will be developed, which manages a variety of devices, persists data, and triggers actions using complex logic. A Senior C++ Engineer with a focus on Storage and Persistence is needed, with very good C++ skills and experience with storage technologies for resource-constrained systems, such as SQLite and Key-Value-Stores. Nice to have are knowledge of eMMC and Flash-Wear, as well as ideas and experience in maximizing device lifespan, for example, through bundled write operations, RAM buffers, and logging strategies, or a strong interest in this topic.
