Senior Case Manager Environmental Law (secondment)

Project overview

The senior case manager will temporarily strengthen the Permits cluster within the framework of the Environmental Law.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Reviewing and processing applications for permits, notifications, and preliminary consultations under the Environmental Law
• Acting as the first point of contact for internal stakeholders such as aldermen and management, and for external applicants and initiators
• Monitoring the progress and legal and administrative deadlines of files and advising on next steps
• Identifying bottlenecks in implementation and making improvement proposals for work processes
• Guiding and advising fellow case managers on complex or sensitive files
• Consulting with legal experts on objection and appeal cases and other legal matters
• Contributing to the drafting and further development of the environmental vision, environmental programs, and the environmental plan
• Completed education at a minimum HBO bachelor's level in construction, law, or spatial planning
• Completed ABW 1 training
• Minimum of 3 years of experience within the last 5 years as a senior case manager for Environmental Law within a municipal organization
• Work experience with independently handling complex permit files under the Environmental Law
• Available from November 23, 2026, for an average of 36 hours per week
