Assignment Description

The work involves establishing, developing, and managing a VCF organization in Skatteverket's private cloud. The goal is to create operational and development environments for the delivery of AI services to public actors. Knowledge transfer to employees, as well as information dissemination and documentation, are important tasks. You are also expected, when necessary, to be able to contribute outside your primary area of expertise for the team to achieve its goals.

Security Clearance:

Skatteverket is covered by security protection legislation, which means the assignment may be placed in a security class. This includes requirements for a security clearance of the consultant and that subcontractors must enter into a security protection agreement.

Before a security protection agreement can be entered into, Skatteverket is obliged to conduct a suitability assessment of the subcontractor in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585), Chapter 4, Sections 7-8.

The scope of the security clearance will be communicated at a later stage in the selection process. The process for establishing a security protection agreement and conducting a security clearance and any background check typically takes 8-12 weeks from the assignment award, but can take longer or shorter. If the assignment is placed in a security class, the assignment cannot begin until this process has been completed and a start date has been communicated by the client.

Information about interviews

If a candidate is presented to the client, the candidate must be available for an interview within seven (7) working days from the candidate receiving an invitation from Upgraded.

Requirements

Normally achieved after 4-8 years. Knowledge: high competence in the relevant area, role, software, and language. Experience: has participated in several assignments within the relevant area, role, software, language, and completed the assignments with high quality. Is a role model for other consultants at lower levels.

Leadership: takes responsibility for a sub-area or program, language, can lead a small group.

Independence: can work independently.

Personal Qualities:

• At least 4 years of experience in cloud engineering, platform technology, or infrastructural automation.
• Ability to document technical solutions and collaborate with platform providers, security functions, and development teams.
• Experience in establishing and automating landing zones, tenant environments, or equivalent consumption environments in private or public cloud platforms.
• Experience in configuring organizational and project structure, networks, permissions, policies, and resource management in a cloud platform.
• Consultant must achieve at least competence level 3 according to the framework agreement:
• Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation, VCF Automation, or VKS at tenant and consumer level
• Private cloud experience.
• Experience with AI/GPU infrastructure and management, scheduling, and sharing of GPUs in cloud environments
• Current and relevant experience with Infrastructure as Code and automated provisioning.
• Experience in establishing platform environments in security-sensitive or regulated operations
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Good collaboration skills.
• Be flexible, open to change, and have the willingness to contribute to problem-solving where the need is greatest at the moment.
