Senior Communications Advisor Project & Change Communications VU interim

Project overview

The assignment includes independently fulfilling project and change communications for various VU-wide and VU-transcending projects.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Providing intake, advice, and execution of communication activities for projects relevant to the VU, but not focused on branding or recruitment
• Designing and advising on communication for VU-wide projects
• Developing a supported, stakeholder-oriented communication approach together with project teams, using workshops according to the Factor C methodology
• Drafting a communication approach per project to inform and involve stakeholders such as project teams, management, and users in a timely manner
• Delivering communication plans aligned with project leaders and other stakeholders
• Coordinating and guiding the execution of communication plans, aligned with project objectives
• Experience with project communication within processes with a strong change component
• Experience with the Factor C methodology and conducting associated workshops
• Analytical skills
• Knowledge of and experience with project and process management
• Advisory skills
• Experience in internal communication and communication in change processes
• Minimum 5 years of work experience gained within a large and complex organization
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in the role of senior communications advisor
• Minimum 3 years of experience with project work according to the Factor C methodology
• HBO+ work and thinking level
