Responsibilities

+ Development and advancement of control and automation solutions for energy facilities

+ Conception and implementation of highly available PLC and network architectures

+ Implementation of communication interfaces based on OPC UA, IEC 61850, IEC 60870 or DNP3

+ Development of IT/OT integrations and data connections between automation and IT systems

+ Analysis and optimization of system availability, scalability, and operational reliability

Requirements

+ Several years of experience in PLC and automation technology

+ Experience with redundant control architectures (PLC, I/O, failover concepts)

+ Experience with industrial communication protocols: OPC UA, Modbus TCP/RTU, Profinet / Profibus, IEC 60870-5-101/104, IEC 61850, DNP3

+ Experience in the field of critical infrastructure, energy supply, or control systems

+ Practical experience with CoDeSys-based controllers (e.g., Beckhoff, WAGO, Bosch Rexroth) or B&R

+ Understanding of IT/OT architectures and industrial networks
