Job Description — Technical GTA Consultant

Context of the mission

We are looking for an experienced technical GTA consultant (minimum 6 years of experience) to secure the acceptance testing and cutover of a GTA project.

The GTA project is entering the acceptance testing phase. The HR department is already supported on the business side by functional support (project management, requirements, business acceptance testing). A technical liaison is currently missing on the IT side, capable of preparing and tooling the acceptance testing, launching and understanding the processes, and preparing the cutover to production.

The consultant will work on the HR Access [HR4YOU] solution (GTA module), within an HR IT environment integrated with Administrative Management (GA), Payroll, and soon GTA.

Positioning

The consultant reports to the IT GTA project manager and works in tandem with the HR functional support: the functional support handles the business needs and acceptance testing, while the consultant handles the technical implementation of acceptance testing and cutover.

Missions and activities

The mission covers three successive blocks: preparing acceptance testing, technically conducting it, and then preparing and executing the cutover.

• Preparation of acceptance testing
• Contribute to the technical acceptance testing strategy: scope, environments, data sets, process scheduling.
• Prepare the acceptance testing environments with the integrator and operations team: configuration, loading of reference data, test authorizations.
• Refine and launch the integration processes for data migration (populations, work schedules, absences, counters, etc.).
• Write or complete technical test cases: batch processes, counter calculations, GTA → GA / Payroll interfaces.
• Technical conduct of acceptance testing
• Launch HR Access [HR4YOU] GTA processes and scripts (time calculations, leave, interfaces, etc.) and monitor their smooth execution.
• Analyze execution reports, logs, and rejections; identify the cause (data, configuration, program) and propose a correction.
• Be able to verify results using SQL queries on the HR Access [HR4YOU] database.
• Qualify technical anomalies, track them in the monitoring tool, follow up on corrections from the integrator, and re-run tests.
• Support the functional support and business testers in the execution of functional acceptance testing (data preparation, process execution, explanation of results).
• Preparation and execution of cutover
• Build the technical cutover plan: sequence of processes, prerequisites, durations, control points, Go/No-Go criteria, rollback procedure.
• In collaboration with the integrator, organize and manage one or more dry runs; measure durations, analyze rejections, and ensure script reliability.
• Execute the actual cutover with the operations and integrator teams.
• Provide post-cutover support: monitor the first production processes, handle incidents.
