Senior DevOps Engineer Avaloq (A)

Project overview

For our client, a renowned bank in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer Avaloq (A).

Please note that due to current Swiss legislation, we can only consider applications from Swiss citizens, EU citizens, and individuals with a valid work permit.

Remote work from abroad is not possible.

Responsibilities

• Parametrization of portfolio management functions and master data extensions within the Avaloq Banking Platform
• Design and development of event streaming interfaces to other software systems
• Support and further development of Java-based software components
• Implementation of refactorings on existing functions, interfaces, and service calls
• Participation in the connection to a Kafka-based event streaming integration platform
• Support of ongoing operations in the sense of the DevOps approach
• Analysis and resolution of faults
• Participation within an Agile Release Train according to SAFe and Scrum

Requirements

Soft Skills

• At least 10 years of experience in Avaloq parametrization
• Profound knowledge of the Avaloq Banking Platform
• Knowledge of an existing Avaloq implementation in the mentioned banking environment
• Experience with agile development methods
• Willingness to take on operational tasks in the DevOps environment
• Interest in technical topics related to investments & pensions
• German at near-native level (C2)
• English at a very good level (C1)
