Seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to build and operate a company-wide GenAI platform on Microsoft Azure. The role involves infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline development (LLMOps), and integration of various Azure AI services.

For our client in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer for the setup and operation of a company-wide GenAI platform based on Microsoft Azure.

You will work in an interdisciplinary DevOps team consisting of Data Scientists, Business Engineers, and DevOps Engineers, jointly shaping the setup and reliable operation of a modern GenAI platform.

- Setup, further development, and operation of a GenAI platform in Azure.
- Automation of infrastructure with Terraform, Helm, and GitLab, as well as development of CI/CD pipelines (LLMOps).
- Configuration and integration of Azure services such as API Management, AKS, Azure OpenAI, AI Search, and AI Foundry.
- Implementation of monitoring, logging, and alerting with Azure Monitor, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Development and optimization of platform components, security mechanisms, routing, and guardrails.
- Participation in technical concepts and architectural decisions, considering IT security and regulatory requirements.
- Support for connected applications with integration, onboarding, and operational issues.
- Sound knowledge of DevOps toolchains such as Git, GitLab, Docker, and Terraform for automated deployment and operation of modern platform services.
- In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Azure cloud, especially Azure API Management, AKS, Azure Functions, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Document Intelligence, Azure AI Foundry, and Storage Accounts.
- Experience in DevOps with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
- Practical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, automated deployments, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with GenAI, RAG, Agentic AI, and LLMOps.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, and OAuth.
- Programming skills in Python and/or Java; knowledge of C# and XML is an advantage.
- Experience in creating and presenting technical architecture concepts.
