Senior DevOps Engineer Java & Kotlin – Microservices

Project overview

For a demanding software development project, we are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with sound knowledge of Java, Kotlin, and microservices architecture. You will contribute to the development and further development of business-critical, internet-based applications with high demands on load processing and availability.

Your tasks include the conception and implementation of microservices and self-contained systems, participation in software architecture, and ensuring scalability, stability, and software quality. You will work in agile development teams according to SAFe and Scrum and use modern project management tools for task tracking.

We expect at least 8 years of demonstrable experience with microservices and self-contained systems, as well as comparable experience as a software developer in the environment of business-critical applications. At least 8 years of practical experience with Java, Kotlin, and relevant development tools are required in each case. Experience in agile development environments using SAFe and Scrum is mandatory.

At least 3 years of experience with Linux and Oracle databases, as well as experience in developing banking solutions, are advantageous.

Requirements

German at native speaker level or C2, English B2.

The position is designed for 80-100% utilization and will be offered hybrid within the region. This is a temporary position with attractive conditions for qualified professionals.
