Senior DevOps Engineer

Project overview

The focus is on building and automating a highly available cloud-native platform, GitOps-based deployments, CI/CD, cloud networking, and container security. Additionally, the role is responsible for the operational stability, security, and backup and recovery capabilities of the platform, and supports the reliable operation of services at scale.

Responsibilities

An experienced Senior DevOps Engineer is sought for the development and operation of BusinessGPT or an Agent Platform.

• Development and operation of cloud-native platform components for BusinessGPT or the Agent Platform
• Automation, security, and optimization of cloud infrastructures and applications
• Building and managing infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
• Development and maintenance of OpenTofu or Terraform-compatible modules for compute, network, storage, and DNS
• Administration of highly available Kubernetes clusters based on T-Cloud CCE Turbo
• Implementation of GitOps-based deployments with Argo CD, ApplicationSet, Helm, and GitLab CI/CD
• Building, optimizing, and supporting CI/CD pipelines and GitLab Runners
• Automation of network resources with Crossplane
• Configuration and operation of cloud networks, load balancers, DNS, storage, and NAT components
• Operation and further development of n8n Enterprise, including Queue Mode, OIDC, and workflow export
• Administration of PostgreSQL databases with CloudNativePG
• Setup of database backups, WAL archiving, and Point-in-Time Recovery
• Configuration of Traefik Ingress, TLS encryption, and automated certificate management
• Implementation of container hardening and Kubernetes security measures
• Integration of container scanning and artifact management with JFrog Xray
• Planning and execution of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery measures
• Creation and maintenance of recovery runbooks and execution of recovery tests
• Collaboration with software development, architecture, product management, and security
• Several years of experience in the DevOps field
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native platforms
• Knowledge of T-Cloud CCE Turbo or comparable managed Kubernetes solutions
• Very good experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially OpenTofu or Terraform
• Profound knowledge of Argo CD, ApplicationSet, and GitOps-based deployment processes
• Experience in developing and deploying Helm Charts
• Experience with Linux, systemd, SSH, and firewalls
• Knowledge of cloud networking, VPC, DNS, load balancing, NAT, and network ACLs
• Experience with JFrog Xray, container image scanning, and artifact management
• Experience with PostgreSQL and CloudNativePG
• Profound knowledge of backup, Point-in-Time Recovery, and Disaster Recovery
• Experience with Traefik Ingress Controller and cert-manager
• Knowledge of TLS, automated certificate management, and secure ingress routing
• Experience with container hardening, non-root containers, read-only filesystems, and Pod Security Standards
• Structured, independent, and quality-oriented way of working
• Experience with T-Cloud services such as CCE, ECS, VPC, EIP, DNS, EVS, ELB, and NAT
• Experience with n8n Enterprise, Queue Mode, and OIDC integrations
• Knowledge of pgBackRest and WAL archiving
• Experience with CloudNativePG Operator
• Experience with cloud security groups and egress concepts
