Project overview

As a senior functional administrator, you ensure the continuity of SAP Finance (S/4HANA) and other financial applications at the IDI Directorate of the ministry.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Identifying and analyzing financial business processes and bottlenecks
• Resolving incidents, preferably proactively
• Translating user problems into workable solutions
• Drafting business requirements and functional designs
• Managing ITIL processes such as incident, problem, and change management
• Contributing to innovation projects and guiding the implementation of new SAP modules
• Setting up and executing test programs and acceptance tests
• Guiding the introduction of changes to users
• Coordinating with users on functional specifications
• Maintaining contact with external suppliers and SAP consultants
• Keeping knowledge up-to-date on SAP modules and new developments
• Supporting colleagues and users with more complex (2nd line) questions
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Information Technology or Functional Administration
• Medior knowledge level
• Proven knowledge of and experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and Public Sector Management
• Knowledge of core financial processes within the Central Government or at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
• Experience with the setup of financial administration
• Knowledge of and experience with testing (preferred)
• Well-developed communication skills
• Strong analytical ability and interest in financial processes and applications
• Broad, cross-process perspective on issues and improvement wishes
• Willingness to occasionally work outside regular working hours
• Proactive and solution-oriented attitude
• Customer-oriented team player
• Flexibility and stress resistance in a dynamic environment
