Senior GIS Solution Lead – ArcGIS, FME & .NET

Project overview

An international energy company is looking for an experienced IT Solution Lead for its Geospatial Product Team. In this role, you will act as a technical leader, connecting business requirements with technological solutions.

As a technical lead, you will be responsible for all technical aspects of the product lifecycle. You will translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications and contribute to solution architecture. You will ensure that technical solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements and comply with internal IT, security, and technology standards.

Your tasks include coordinating with internal functional and technology platforms, providing technical expertise on software components, and advising on technology decisions. You will lead the technical implementation and configuration of Geospatial products and manage the build, deployment, and operational support of custom components, primarily based on Microsoft technologies such as .NET.

Furthermore, you will manage the integration of standard solutions into the IT landscape, conduct fit-gap analyses, and support technical evaluations and software selection processes. You will monitor suppliers, SLA/KPI performance, and identify areas for improvement.

The position is limited to 13 months with a 60% remote share and 100% utilization. The location is Brussels, Belgium. Professionals with extensive experience in GIS solutions, Esri ArcGIS, data integration, and Microsoft technologies are sought.
