Job description
Seeking a Senior ICT Project Engineer for a long-term contract in Bern, focusing on the Atlassian Suite and OpenDesk collaboration services within a public administration/federal environment. The role requires extensive experience in configuration, integration, lifecycle management, testing, and security hardening of IT platforms.
Responsibilities
Provisioning, configuration, and hardening of collaboration services, especially the Atlassian Suite and OpenDesk
Integration of applications into existing IT platforms, considering applicable security and operational requirements
Responsibility for the lifecycle management of deployed collaboration solutions
Planning, execution, and automation of functional, integration, and security tests
Ensuring the quality, stability, and compliance of deployed applications
Creation and maintenance of technical operational, system, and configuration documentation
Documentation of security-relevant settings and technical standards
Ensuring stable and secure operation through incident, problem, and change management
Execution of patch and vulnerability management
Continuous optimization of deployed client services
Deputizing for the Product Owner in agile meetings and technical discussions
Requirements
Several years of professional experience as a Senior ICT Engineer, Lead Engineer, System Engineer, or in a comparable role
In-depth practical experience with Atlassian products and/or OpenDesk
Experience in the provisioning, configuration, and operation of collaboration platforms
Good knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management
Experience in automating functional, integration, and security tests
Knowledge of incident, problem, change, patch, and vulnerability management
Experience with securing and hardening applications in security-critical IT environments
Experience in creating technical documentation
Knowledge of agile working methods, ideally SAFe
Very good German language skills
