Description

For demanding transformation, cloud, and outsourcing projects, we are looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager Cloud & Information Security. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, management, and implementation of complex IT infrastructure, cloud, migration, and transformation projects. You will combine technical expertise with professional project and stakeholder management, ensuring that demanding IT environments can be operated securely, efficiently, and sustainably.

You will guide projects from conception to successful implementation and take responsibility for project planning, budget, quality, risks, and reporting to relevant stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Project Management & Transformation

Cloud & Information Security

• Leading complex IT infrastructure, cloud, migration, transformation, and outsourcing projects
• Planning and managing transitions, migrations, operational takeovers, and decommissioning
• Responsibility for project planning, budget, quality, risks, reporting, and escalation management
• Managing internal and external project teams, service providers, and manufacturers
• Support with tenders, as well as contract, vendor, and outsourcing management
• Conception and implementation of secure hybrid and cloud-based architectures with a focus on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
• Development and further development of ISMS structures, IT security concepts, and policies according to ISO 27001 and BSI Basic Protection
• Establishment and optimization of governance, operations, and security processes
• Implementation of processes for incident, problem, change, BCM, and disaster recovery management
• Development of service, operations, and solution concepts, including SLA and OLA structures
• Identification and implementation of automation potentials as well as Infrastructure-as-Code and deployment approaches

• Several years of experience in managing complex IT projects and programs
• Ideally, experience in regulated or security-critical environments
• Sound knowledge in IT infrastructure, cloud transformation, and IT operations
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and hybrid IT landscapes
• Experience in the field of information security, ISMS, ISO 27001, and/or BSI Basic Protection
• Knowledge of IT service management and governance processes, for example according to ITIL
• Experience with cloud and application migrations
• Experience in outsourcing or transition projects
• Strong competence in stakeholder, service provider, risk, and escalation management
• Structured and solution-oriented approach to work
• Very good communication and presentation skills in German and English
