Job description
Seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with FinOps expertise to estimate and anticipate application costs throughout their lifecycle. The role involves building cost estimation models, analyzing cost impacts of changes, and contributing to budget decisions.
Project overview
Context
The team currently has the capacity to conduct studies and analyze application usage costs (post-usage analysis).
The Group wishes to strengthen the forward-looking dimension: estimate and anticipate costs before and during the life of applications.
Missions
Working conditions
- Build and tool cost estimation models for an application throughout its lifecycle (build / run / usage)
- Anticipate the impact of evolutions, version upgrades, migrations, and usage changes on costs
- Develop charts and costing repositories based on historical costs and usage
- Be the point of contact for project teams for any questions regarding the reliability and robustness of estimates
- Compare estimates with actual costs incurred and improve the models (continuous improvement loop)
- Contribute to budget decisions and early drift alerts before decisions are made
- Location: Nantes
- Remote work: 2 to 3 days per week
- Budget: 460 euros HT
