Senior Java Backend Developer Agentic Coding Remote & Munich

Project overview

For our client in Munich, we are looking for two Senior Java Backend Developers (m/f/d) Agentic Coding starting immediately for an expected duration of 6 months with the option of extension.

Responsibilities

• Further development and operation of the central platform
• Ensuring the stability, scalability, availability, and performance of business-critical platforms.
• Implementation and optimization of central business processes related to rental agreements and customer service.
• Development of robust backend services and integrations on the JVM.
• Processing incoming customer contacts within the ACES orchestration runtime.
• Selection, control, and sequencing of the appropriate sub-agents.
• Management of conversation state across multiple interactions.
• Implementation of error handling, timeouts, fallbacks, as well as monitoring and logging.
• Seamless handover of complex customer concerns to service employees in Salesforce, including complete conversation context, and close collaboration with Data Science, Product Management, and other engineering teams.

Requirements

• Java, microservices, and event-driven architectures
• Agentic Coding – mandatory requirement
• Experience with AWS and Apache Kafka
• Knowledge of scalable, distributed backend systems
• Very good English skills (C1)
