Senior Java/Kotlin Developer – Spring Boot, Angular, Oracle, GIS Environment

Project overview

For a long-term modernization project in the public sector, we are looking for experienced Java/Kotlin developers to redevelop web-based specialist applications.

The applications support the digital processing of specialist data as well as the integration of geodata and external systems.

Responsibilities

• Development and modernization of web applications
• Backend development with Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot
• Frontend development with Angular and TypeScript
• Development and connection of REST interfaces
• Integration of relational databases
• Processing and integration of geo and attribute data
• Development of microservices and container deployment
• CI/CD, automated tests, and quality assurance

Requirements

• Java or Kotlin with Spring / Spring Boot
• Angular and TypeScript for full-stack deployments
• Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, and CI/CD
• REST APIs and relational databases
• Experience with GIS/geodata processing, including spatial geometries and attribute data
• Experience in developing web-based applications
• Experience with public administration specialist applications
• Minimum 12 months of professional experience
• Completed university degree with proof
• German language skills at least C2
• Oracle or comparable relational databases
• disy Cadenza Workbooks or comparable GIS integrations
• Keycloak / IAM
• Software QA, testing, and IT security
• Requirements management and technical conception
• Knowledge in the environmental sector
• Relevant certificates in IT security or agile methods
