Senior Manager of Cross-Functional Projects Platform Engineering

Project overview

Within the Platform Engineering division, you will lead cross-functional projects and programs involving multiple technical teams.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Lead complex cross-functional projects involving multiple teams
• Coordinate dependencies and contributions from various stakeholders
• Oversee deadlines, risks, actions, and decisions made
• Prepare reports for management
• Participate in the development and management of roadmaps
• Facilitate communication between teams and internal clients
• Ensure the coherence of initiatives with the division's strategy
• Lead the common security roadmap for platforms, including the management of secrets, identities, access, and certificates
• Support the transition to Public Cloud and coordinate team onboarding
• Monitor the CI/CD program with technical leads and promote the adoption of modern development practices
• Coordinate evolutions that enhance the autonomy of development teams
• Structure and manage the platform service portfolio, including SLA monitoring
• Solid experience in managing complex projects or cross-functional programs in an IT environment
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams
• Excellent skills in coordination, communication, and stakeholder management
• Good understanding of cloud environments, platforms, DevOps, infrastructure, databases, and middleware technologies
• Ability to structure, prioritize, and advance multiple initiatives in parallel
• Sense of autonomy, initiative, and results-oriented mindset
• Proficiency in Jira and Confluence tools
• Proficiency in Agile, ITIL, and PRINCE2
• Experience with API Gateway, CI/CD, build automation tools (Jenkins), and cloud/containerized environments (Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Understanding of issues related to identity, secrets, certificates, Privileged Access Management, and Vault Secret Store management
• Familiarity with portfolio management and project management applied to platform services
• Proficiency in French or Dutch with active knowledge of the other national language, as well as a good level of English
