The candidate possesses HBO/WO work and thinking level.

The candidate has at least 5 years of experience with the SQL / PL-SQL framework.

The candidate has at least 10 years of demonstrable work experience in a comparable role working within complex and large (Central Government) projects and programs.

The candidate has relevant Oracle certifications.

Assignment Description

Within the Implementation and Management team, he/she will have the formal authority to perform management in all development streams of environments that implement the functionality of iCOV reports. This includes both the underlying on-premise Exadata Oracle 18c/19c databases and the Windows application servers hosting Jasper Reports, Oracle WebLogic, and Oracle Spatial Map Visualization Component (formerly MapViewer).

Within database development, it should be noted that iCOV has developed several complex custom reporting tools using the Oracle Data Cartridge framework. In particular, this SQL / PL-SQL framework has enabled iCOV to apply the object-oriented paradigm to simultaneously create flexibly configurable reports and ensure consistent application of concept definitions from the functional domain.

Innovation - further development of iCOV reports as well as optimizing the performance of the infrastructure. iCOV stands for infobox Criminal and Unexplained Wealth. It is a collaboration of fifteen different government organizations. iCOV assists these participating organizations through data intelligence reports in combating, among other things, money laundering, fraud, and undermining criminal activities, and in supervising economic traffic in the Netherlands. Working at iCOV therefore means working towards a safer and fairer Netherlands.
