Senior PMO Consultant - Multiproject, IT & Digital Transformation

Project overview

For a strategic multiproject to introduce several new, standardized digital workplaces, we are looking for an experienced Senior PMO Consultant (m/f/d). This role involves supporting multiproject management in steering, coordinating, and successfully implementing an extensive IT transformation and rollout program.

Responsibilities

• Support of multiproject management in steering and organizing a large-scale IT transformation and rollout program
• Planning, maintenance, and monitoring of project plans, milestones, risks, actions, and dependencies
• Coordination and alignment between project management, sub-projects, departments, and other stakeholders
• Creation of status reports, management presentations, decision proposals, as well as KPI and dashboard reports
• Preparation, moderation, and follow-up of workshops, regular meetings, and decision rounds
• Steering and tracking of cross-project interfaces and dependencies
• Support with pilot projects, tests, releases, and rollout preparations
• Analysis of user feedback and usage data, and derivation of optimization measures
• Participation in change, communication, and enablement measures to ensure user acceptance
• Building and maintaining project, knowledge, and documentation structures in Jira and Confluence

Requirements

• Several years of experience as PMO, project manager, or project coordinator in complex IT transformation or digitalization projects
• Experience in managing large rollout, migration, or implementation projects with multiple stakeholders
• Very good knowledge of stakeholder, risk, action, and dependency management
• Experience in creating management reports, dashboards, and decision documents
• Sound knowledge of agile project methods and collaboration with multiple project teams
• Very good knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and common collaboration tools (Miro, Microsoft 365)
• Experience in planning and conducting workshops, coordination meetings, and pilot projects
• Ability to prepare complex technical and functional issues understandably and target-group-oriented
• Structured, independent, and communicative working style
• Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken

Nice to have

• SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification
• Experience in change management, user experience, or adoption management
• Experience in the public sector or municipal environment
• Knowledge in the education or school sector as well as in digitalization projects for educational IT
• Experience in cross-organizational rollout and transformation programs
• Experience in building knowledge management and documentation structures
