Senior Product Development Engineer – 12 Months – 50% Remote – ASAP

Project overview

For our client, we are looking for an experienced Product Development Engineer (m/f/d) for the further development and scaling of single-use systems in the biopharmaceutical environment. The focus is on plastic fluid lines, hose systems, and the development of production-ready solutions.

Responsibilities

• Further development of existing single-use assemblies and transfer to two further scalable systems
• Conception and specification of plastic fluid lines, hose systems, filters, pumps, and sensor technology
• Execution of technical assessments and design reviews
• Creation of product specifications, parts lists, and development documentation
• Development and documentation of verification and validation concepts
• Preparation of prototype construction and subsequent industrialization
• Documentation in SAP and Polarion

Requirements

• Sound experience in product development, plastics technology, or fluid technology
• Knowledge in the development of single-use systems in the biopharmaceutical environment
• Experience with hose systems, plastic components, filtration, and sensor technology
• Confident handling of technical design reviews and development processes
• Experience with validation, verification, and regulated development processes
• Knowledge of SAP and Polarion is an advantage
• Good German and English skills
