Senior Project Manager Test Data Management & Data Anonymization

Responsibilities

For our client in the banking sector, we are looking for an experienced individual with pronounced expertise in test data management and data anonymization. You will lead the setup of a solution that automatically supplies development and test environments with synthetic and/or irreversibly anonymized test data without customer-identifying data (CID).

• Overall project leadership from solution conception through proof of concept to operational introduction and handover to operations.
• Collection of stakeholder requirements and development of a solution approach including detailed functional and IT specifications.
• Creation of business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and risk and feasibility assessments.
• If necessary, conduct a vendor evaluation including RFP, assessment, and decision proposals, as well as preparation of supplier contracting.
• Conception, planning, and coordination of a PoC with a focus on the Finnova core banking system.
• Control of integration into the existing system landscape and extension of the solution to relevant surrounding systems and databases.
• Setup and commissioning of an initial CID-free development environment, including compliance-compliant access for external onshore, nearshore, and offshore developers.
• Development of a governance-compliant verification process for checking test environments for the absence of customer-identifying data.
• Responsibility for project team, deadlines, budget, quality, risks, and reporting, as well as close coordination with IT, architecture, data protection, legal, compliance, risk, and information security.
• Development of operational and role models, guidelines, and processes, as well as planning of communication, training, and handover to operations.

Requirements

• At least five years of project management experience in complex IT and integration projects.
• Substantial experience from several projects in test data management, data anonymization, data masking, or synthetic test data generation in the banking environment.
• Practical experience with several test data management solutions or corresponding in-house developments.
• Deep technical understanding of databases, interfaces, environment management, and CI/CD.
• Good knowledge of Swiss data protection law (DSG) and FINMA regulations.
• Proven experience in collaborating with governance, risk, compliance, data protection, and security.
• Independent, structured way of working, assertiveness, and willingness to take on operational tasks.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
