Senior SAP Technical-Functional Consultant, ABAP OO and OpenText

Project overview

The mission focuses on the evolution of the SAP environment and the migration of document management from Documentum to OpenText.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Analyze key user needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications
• Design and carry out SAP developments in object-oriented ABAP (BAdI, user exits, Enhancement Framework)
• Design reports and forms using ALV, Adobe Forms, and Smartforms
• Design and maintain SAP Business Workflow workflows
• Develop and stabilize RFC, BAPI, IDoc, and web service interfaces, including with external organizations such as the ONSS
• Carry out SAP PM developments related to orders and maintenance (Web Dynpro ABAP, POWL, Fiori)
• Replace the SAP-Documentum integration with an SAP-OpenText integration, by configuring new repositories and adapting specific developments
• Organize non-regression tests and prepare the cutover
• Adjust roles and authorization objects associated with the developments carried out
• Write test scenarios and support user acceptance testing
• Document the achievements and transfer knowledge to the Run team
• At least 10 years of experience in SAP development, preferably in a technical-functional role
• Excellent knowledge of ABAP OO and SAP Business Workflow
• Proven experience with SAP ArchiveLink and SAP-OpenText integration (Archiving and Document Access, Extended ECM)
• Practice with Documentum in an SAP-integrated environment
• Experience in migrating a DMS system to OpenText including SAP link recovery, is a plus
• Proven experience with SAP interfaces such as RFC, BAPI, IDoc, and web services
• Solid functional knowledge of SAP MM, FI, and/or PM modules
• Practice with SAP S/4HANA
• Autonomy, rigor, and good communication with business teams
• Good command of Dutch or French, combined with English
