Senior Scrum Master / Agile Coach – ITOM Product Transformation (M/F)

Project overview

Mission Context

As part of an IT organization transformation, a major player in the banking and insurance sector is looking for a Senior Scrum Master / Agile Coach to support its IT production and IT Operations teams in their transition to a Product-oriented way of working.

The objective is to gradually evolve an organization historically structured around projects and tools towards a model based on clearly defined IT products, autonomous multidisciplinary teams, and better delivery control.

This transformation must take into account the coexistence of Project and Product approaches, while strengthening collaboration between technical, functional, and managerial teams.

The consultant will work with several squads in a complex, multi-site environment, with a strong focus on operational support, coaching, and change management.

Main Missions

• Support the progressive transition of IT teams towards a Product mode organization, considering their Agile maturity level.
• Participate in defining IT products, their scopes, their users, and associated objectives.
• Contribute to structuring tribes and squads to foster their autonomy and accountability.
• Clarify roles and interactions between Product Managers, Product Owners, Tech Leads, Scrum Masters, and team managers.
• Support the creation and prioritization of product backlogs including functional evolutions, Run activities, technical debt, and regulatory constraints.
• Deploy Agile practices adapted to the teams, leveraging Scrum, Kanban, Lean Agile, or hybrid approaches.
• Structure Discovery, Build, Delivery, and Run activities to improve operational continuity and fluidity.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and collaborative workshops, prioritizing operational efficiency.
• Optimize the management of flows, capacities, dependencies, and obstacles that may affect delivery.
• Strengthen coordination between different squads, technical teams, and stakeholders spread across multiple sites.
• Define and monitor performance indicators to measure delivered value, service quality, and team maturity.
• Conduct an Agile and Product maturity assessment and propose an adapted improvement trajectory.
• Support teams in adopting new working methods and contribute to their increasing autonomy.
• Formalize best practices and ensure skills transfer to sustain organizational changes.
