Senior ServiceNow Techno-Functional Consultant (ITAM/ITOM)

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior ServiceNow Techno-Functional Consultant for a global manufacturing company. The position is fully remote and fixed for 12 months.

In this role, you will lead the implementation of IT Asset Management (ITAM) – including Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) – for a globally deployed ServiceNow platform. The company already has an established ITSM and ITOM infrastructure. You will lead the project from the requirements analysis and design phase through development to commissioning and handover. In doing so, you will expand the existing ITOM and CMDB structure to provide precise asset data.

The role is approximately 70% technical and 30% functional.

Requirements

Start Date: January 1, 2027

• Minimum 7 years of practical ServiceNow development experience
• 2-3 full ITOM implementations (Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB data quality)
• 2-3 full ITAM implementations
• Minimum 2 projects in HAM or SAM (SAM Pro, Asset Lifecycle, Normalization, Reconciliation, License Compliance)
• Strong scripting and build skills: JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Flow Designer
• Integration experience with IntegrationHub and REST/SOAP
• Solid understanding of CMDB and CSDM, as well as the alignment of ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM processes
• Competence in requirements workshops and translation of business requirements into technical designs
• Proven experience with global or multinational clients
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
