Senior System Engineer Data Center Integration

Project overview

For our client in Bavaria, we are looking for 4-6 Senior System Engineers for system integration as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Integration and commissioning of several security-critical IT systems in the Defence/Aerospace environment
• Initialization, configuration, and deployment of server and data center infrastructures
• Setup and configuration of virtualized environments based on VMware (VCF9)
• Configuration and integration of complex Cisco network infrastructures
• Automation of deployment and rollout processes using Ansible
• Creation and maintenance of Ansible Playbooks for automated server initialization and system deployment
• Execution of system integration, functional, and acceptance tests
• Installation, configuration, and commissioning of applications in the target environment
• Analysis and resolution of technical faults within the scope of troubleshooting and debugging
• Participation in the implementation and further development of system architectures using Sparx Enterprise Architect
• Support during resource bottlenecks through parallel implementation of 2-3 systems within a larger project network
• Collaboration with architecture, software, test, and integration teams

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Senior System Engineer, System Integrator, or IT Infrastructure Specialist
• Demonstrable project experience in the Defence, Aerospace, or comparably security-critical environment
• In-depth knowledge in the system integration of complex IT landscapes
• Very good VMware knowledge, ideally in the environment of VCF9, data centers, and virtualization
• Very good Cisco network knowledge, including complex configurations
• CCNA certification or comparable practical experience desirable
• Sound experience in deployment automation with Ansible
• Experience in creating and maintaining Ansible Playbooks
• Knowledge of Sparx Enterprise Architect and model-based system approaches are an advantage
• Fluent German and good English skills
• Security clearance SÜ2
