Requirements

Candidate has a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree or higher.

Candidate holds ISTQB® and/or TMap NEXT® certification.

Candidate has current (within the last 7 years) and at least 5 years of demonstrable experience as a Tester.

Candidate has current (within the last 5 years) and demonstrable experience with Postman or comparable API tools.

Candidate has current (within the last 5 years) and demonstrable experience with XML.

Candidate has current (within the last 5 years) and demonstrable experience interpreting log files.

Candidate has current (within the last 5 years) and demonstrable experience creating and maintaining integration and automated end-to-end tests.

Candidate has current (within the last 5 years) and demonstrable experience working in an agile and/or Dev-Ops environment.

Candidate has good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.

Are you joining the KVK? Then you will enter a large Agile organization with the goal of quickly responding to the needs of our customers and products and improving the accessibility of our services for entrepreneurs. You will work with colleagues from the Output Management Team within the IT Registers department, where we deliver added value for both KVK employees and KVK customers.

What will you do?

You will work with the Output Management Team. The Output Management Team is a scrum team consisting of developers, a tester, analyst, functional and technical application managers, and a product owner. They work on communication services for customers, with a focus on high-quality technology and a uniform corporate identity. The team does this by processing certified extracts, invoices, letters, emails, and PDF documents in the outgoing correspondence process.

As a tester, you will support the team in testing these important processes. You will start your work during the preparation of a sprint. You will not wait until a story is completed and thrown over the fence, but you will be actively involved in refinements and planning so that you know which questions will need to be resolved by the team and what their solution direction will be. You will use that information to develop a good test approach so that the quality of the work to be delivered meets the requirements. Where possible, you will automate the tests.

You will also ensure that the team's existing test sets are kept up-to-date and that they are continuously improved.

In addition to the technical work, you will ensure that you collaborate and communicate well with the rest of the team and other teams about your findings and activities. You are analytically strong and act proactively. You will replace a colleague tester who is on leave. Your assignment is to focus on testing, test optimization, increased test coverage, and achieving increased test maturity for the team. Test automation is part of your work where space and time permit.

With your domain and technical knowledge, you will act as a sparring partner for the Output Management team, but also for the practice test colleagues.
