Senior UX Researcher Accessibility Banking

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced UX Researcher with a focus on accessibility for an innovative project in the banking sector. In this role, you will significantly contribute to making digital applications accessible and user-friendly for all users.

Your tasks include planning and conducting UX research activities in the area of accessibility, including user interviews, usability tests, and surveys. You will involve users with various disabilities in the research process and systematically analyze and evaluate existing applications for accessibility. Based on your findings, you will derive concrete recommendations for action and prepare them in meaningful reports and presentations. Close collaboration with UX/UI design, development, and business departments is essential.

For this position, you bring demonstrable experience in UX research, ideally with a focus on accessibility. You have sound knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines as well as experience with qualitative and quantitative user research methods. Familiarity with assistive technologies such as screen readers is an advantage. Experience in the banking or financial sector completes your profile.

The project is designed for 10-12 months with an option for extension. You will work predominantly remotely with occasional on-site appointments. The position is designed as a full-time role and offers a hybrid working model.
