Single-Use Design Consultant

Project overview

For an innovative project in the biopharmaceutical sector, we are looking for an experienced Single-Use Design Consultant. The position is based in Göttingen and offers flexible working options with a 50% remote component. The start is planned for November 2026, with an initial contract duration of 12 months with potential for extension.

Your tasks include the technical assessment and development of designs for single-use assemblies, as well as the definition and specification of plastic fluid lines and tubing systems, taking into account technical, quality-related, and regulatory requirements. You will create and maintain product specifications, bills of materials, and development documentation. Furthermore, you will document technical assessments, design decisions, and quality requirements. Another focus is on the creation of verification and validation concepts as well as the evaluation of test results.

You will prepare documented development solutions as a basis for prototype construction and industrialization and work with the tools SAP and Polarion.

We expect a technical background in product development, plastics technology, or fluid technology. Knowledge in design reviews, technical decision-making processes, and the evaluation of development solutions is required. You should have an understanding of design concepts, system architectures, and single-use systems, as well as experience with fluid management systems, tubing systems, plastic components, filtration, and sensor technology. Knowledge of regulated development processes in the medical technology, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industries is advantageous.
