The Omgevingsdienst Zuid-Holland Zuid is looking for an interim Soil Supervisor to oversee and enforce soil remediation projects. The role involves ensuring compliance with remediation plans, taking enforcement actions, documenting findings, and contributing to process optimization.
Project overview
The soil supervisor checks and enforces soil remediation within the Omgevingsdienst Zuid-Holland Zuid.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Checking that remediations are carried out in accordance with the approved remediation plan and associated decision
- Taking enforcement action in case of deviations from the remediation plan according to the National Enforcement Strategy
- Recording findings in OpenWave and preparing short reports
- Contributing to the optimization of the work process for soil supervision
- Providing input for integral supervision and enforcement of all soil tasks, including the Soil Quality Decree and the Uniform Remediation Decree
- Preparing progress reports
- Extensive expertise, spanning more than 10 years, in the field of soil contamination, soil remediation, chain supervision, and soil excavation
- Several years of experience gained at an environmental service or inspection service
- Experience with the OpenWave system and conducting inspections
- Thorough knowledge of the Environmental Act, the Soil Protection Act, soil processes, and the BAL (Soil Activities Decree)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Driving license
- Independent and flexible in approaching work
- Bachelor's degree level of work and thinking
