Stream Lead Application Migration

Project overview

As part of a comprehensive data center relocation, we are gradually migrating our applications to a newly provided infrastructure at the target location. As Stream Lead Application Migration & Re-Deployment, you will take on the central organizational and operational control of this highly dynamic transformation project.

What we are looking for:

• End-to-end control: Holistic coordination of application migrations – from setting up the target infrastructure and re-deployment, through release, to handover for decommissioning of legacy systems.
• Interface & Stakeholder Management: Close coordination with infrastructure, platform, and application teams, as well as system owners and management levels, to ensure targeted collaboration.
• Process & Schedule Control: Scheduling re-deployments, coordinating the provision of IT resources, and tracking all dependencies, deadlines, and actions.
• Quality Assurance & Releases: Ensuring smoke tests and obtaining the necessary technical and business approvals.
• Escalation & Risk Management: Confident moderation of obstacles, delays, or resource conflicts, as well as actively developing structural solutions.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Setting up and maintaining transparent status and risk monitoring, as well as creating key figures and management reports.
• Jira Process Responsibility: Further development and maintenance of Jira workflows, ticket systems, and dashboards for migration control.
• Professional experience: Several years of experience in managing or coordinating complex IT projects, infrastructure projects, or transformation initiatives.
• Technical understanding: Basic knowledge of server operations, deployment processes, and application operations; experience working with interfaces between infrastructure and application teams.
• Tool expertise: Very good knowledge of Jira (workflow control, ticket management, dashboard creation, and reporting).
• Communication & Assertiveness: Strong moderation, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills, as well as a confident demeanor with stakeholders at all levels.
• Work style: High degree of initiative, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain an overview even in dynamic phases with changing priorities. Team player.
