Job description

International pharmaceutical group seeks a temporary manager for their Digital Transformation Office (DTO) to oversee the Sustainability roadmap and cross-functional strategic projects, while also coordinating DTO operations.

Project overview

Our client, an international pharmaceutical group, is undertaking an ambitious digital transformation. Within its Digital, Data & IT department, the Digital Transformation Office (DTO) drives the strategy, roadmaps, project portfolio, and change management. This role is a temporary replacement for the manager responsible for the Sustainability & cross-functional initiatives scope, created in 2026, which translates the group's CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) objectives – Planet, People, Patient – into the digital realm. The roadmap has been initiated.

The objective is to get it validated, grow it, and manage the DTO coordination.

Missions

IT Sustainability

Cross-functional Strategic Projects

DTO Coordination, as the right-hand person to the DTO manager

  • Finalize, get validated, and manage the IT Sustainability roadmap 2026-2027, in alignment with group CSR.
  • Implement the roadmap management governance and propose improvements.
  • Organize and facilitate a workshop for sharing and aligning on the vision, roadmap, and governance.
  • Manage Sustainability projects and KPIs and ensure regular reporting. Example: an automated carbon dashboard on Power BI.
  • Drive change management: acculturation of teams to responsible digital practices, diversity & inclusion.
  • Mobilize, through influence-based management, IT contributors who dedicate 5-10% of their time to these topics: Green IT, IT for Green, digital sobriety, digital eco-design.
  • Manage strategic and organizational projects assigned by the IT steering committee. Examples: organize learning expeditions for the executive committee (content, logistics, meetings), implement a fast-track process for faster delivery of AI & Data use cases.
  • Prepare agendas, lead the weekly steering committee and monthly meetings, take notes, and ensure follow-up on decisions.
  • Organize other DTO meetings: team days, onboarding.
  • Ensure consistency of the DTO's internal workstreams and smooth interactions with IT and business units.
  • Maintain key structural elements: organizational chart, "who does what", cross-functional calendar, onboarding kit, collaborative space.
  • Gather team pain points, then prioritize and manage a backlog of quick wins.
  • Coordinate DTO budget monitoring with management control: allocations, alerts, projections, arbitration.
