Technical Privacy Officer

Project overview

As a technical privacy officer, you will set up the privacy and GRC tooling and support second-line privacy work.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Setting up the privacy and GRC tooling (such as TrustBound), including the processing register and data breach register
• Setting up workflows for Privacy Quick Scans and DPIAs
• Managing supplier assessments, reports, and dashboards
• Translating policy and work processes into the setup of templates, questionnaires, roles, and authorizations
• Realizing integrations with existing systems such as TOPdesk and migrating existing registers
• Setting up and documenting functional management
• Training colleagues and contact persons through manuals, videos, and training sessions
• Advising on technical and organizational measures for new systems
• Assessing whether suppliers have taken appropriate measures
• Acting as a point of contact for the ICT organization and monitoring progress on privacy risks
• Handling tickets in second-line services, including Quick Scans, DPIA support, advice on processing agreements, and handling data breaches
• WO work and thinking level, for example in Law, Information Science, or Computer Science
• Experience with setting up or functionally managing privacy or GRC tooling such as TrustBound
• Background as a privacy officer, advisor, or lawyer, with experience in privacy advice within a second-line function
• Current knowledge of the GDPR and related laws and regulations, with translation into concrete system requirements
• Knowledge of information security and IT architecture, including data flows and integrations
• Fluent command of the Dutch language and good command of English
• Preferably recent experience in the education sector (HBO or WO)
• Preferably knowledge of TOPdesk and TrustBound
• Preferably certification as CIPT, CIPM, or CIPP/E
